Why TIP Learning?

Research informs my work. Learners inspire it.

The name TIP reflects my belief in the infinite potential of every learner. I partner with parents and educators to design curriculum and instruction that foster growth at every stage of the learning journey. No matter where students begin, they deserve learning experiences that are engaging, effective, and meaningful.

As an education consultant, I collaborate with stakeholders to create high-impact learning opportunities for students—whether in classrooms, communities, or the many wild spaces where learning happens.

But TIP is more than a name. It also represents my commitment to turning theory into practice. Effective education is grounded in research about how people learn, and ongoing discoveries across disciplines continue to deepen our understanding of how knowledge and skills are best developed. My approach bridges evidence-based learning science with practical instructional design, strategically aligning goals, curriculum, and teaching practices to help students “TIP” toward deeper, more connected learning that lasts.

The TIP Learning Approach

Research-Based

My work is grounded in evidence about teaching, learning, curriculum, and student development.

Personalized

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Every learner, educator, and organization brings different strengths, needs, and goals.

Collaborative

The strongest solutions are built together. I partner with students, families, teachers, administrators, and organizations throughout the learning process.

Practical

Research matters most when it improves what happens in real learning environments. I turn educational theory into strategies people can actually use.

Focused on Lasting Growth

The goal isn’t simply short-term improvement. I want students and educators to develop knowledge, skills, confidence, and independence that continue long after our work together.
