Dr. Maggie Hoody

Maggie Hoody, Ed.D. is an education consultant based in the Chicago, Illinois area with twenty-seven years of experience spanning K–12 and higher education. She has taught students from kindergarten through graduate school and brings a deep understanding of learning across developmental stages.

Most recently, Dr. Hoody served as a school principal for three years, during which time the Preschool–8th grade school earned recognition as a National Blue Ribbon School. Prior to her administrative leadership in K–12 education, she spent six years as an Associate Professor in a Teacher Education program, where she prepared future educators through research-informed, practice-based instruction.

Dr. Hoody’s professional training includes specialization in STEM education, literacy education, and curriculum design. She is especially committed to translating educational research into classroom practice to promote equitable learning opportunities for all students.
